Paul Rudd made a startling jump from Drama to comedy, I still think people remembers him by the name Paul Stephen Rudd and his roles in The Great Gatsby and The Cider House Rules, to grope even further he was in the sixth Halloween movie, it was quite unlikely that he would hit success with Comedy in the end.

Here, we`re seeing a film crew that`s set out to shoot in a jungle: it`s a motley group with exaggerated quirks – the kind you find in this genre of film (the producer from the South, for example, cannot complete a sentence without saying ‘aiyoda’). I have to admit, I love Will Ferrell. The trouble is, when you love a guy, but his comedy starts to stink, and get stale, what do you do? This is what I was up against in the last few years with Ferrell’s tiring attempts at comedy. So, when I decided to give this one a last ditch attempt and a final one more time, I have to say, I’m in love again. Step Brothers is an absolutely hilarious film.
