There two totally different opinion about this movie: Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Here I am sharing them with you.

First, I am so sorry I misunderstood the release date of The Proposal. We have to wait another month until this movie release. However, we have another choice for you, we can see the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

For people who have seen it before muse be agree with me that this movie is a great one! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie give us a “Smart and Sexy” movie! I can still remember their amazing kitchen. Knife is not the most dangerous thing in their kitchen, but tens of guns belong to Mrs. Smith. I also can not forget their dinner and dance, which full with danger. After their gun shot at their own home, they just showed up as a lovely couple to their neighbor! Pretty and lovely couple! If you missed it once, do not let the same thing happen again! Go to our Movie Night, you will have a great time!

I know you are probably waiting for the review of The Proposal but my movie choice “Rollerball” lost out to a movie that the group hadn’t managed to get hold of and was replaced at short notice by Mr. and Mrs. Smith (not Rollerball).

I have to admit that the movie passed me by at the cinema. However, some people, who I no longer trust, had said good things about it so I went along to the viewing to give it a try.

This review is going to be short. The movie wasn’t short which was a shame. I am going to start with the good stuff. The two leads Pitts (sorry, Pitt) and Jolie are very physically attractive and the acting in the movie was of a good overall standard. The special effects obviously benefitted from a big budget and were, in blockbuster style, spectacular.

Now the bad stuff. Beyond the obvious physical attractiveness of the lead roles and their willingness to flirt with one another they were among the least likeable characters I have seen on screen. This movie is shallow and mean spirited, and its huge success reflects badly on modern cinema and society. It is not witty enough to be a comedy and the couple too unlikeable to make the movie a romance. Infact if you look through the obvious gloss all that is left is a badly written action film that drags on and on and on, while the couple spout utter nonsense to each other. I have finished now.
