On Friday, June 13, 1980, a young Jason Voorhees (Caleb Guss) witnesses his mother (Nana Visitor) get beheaded by a camp counselor (Stephanie Rhodes) who was trying to escape Mrs. Voorhees’s murderous rampage around Camp Crystal Lake. Approximately thirty-years later, a group of vacationing friends—Wade (Jonathan Sadowski), Richie (Ben Feldman), Mike (Nick Mennell), Whitney (Amanda Righetti), and Amanda (America Olivo)—arrive at Crystal Lake on a camping trip, and to find some weed that was planted in the woods. As Mike and Whitney explore the woods, Jason (Derek Mears) begins to kill the rest of the group one-by-one. Jason also kills Mike, but instead of doing the same to Whitney he decides to kidnap her because she resembles his mother at a young age.
Six weeks later, Trent (Travis Van Winkle), along with his girlfriend Jenna (Danielle Panabaker), and their friends Chewie (Aaron Yoo), Chelsea (Willa Ford), Nolan (Ryan Hansen), Bree (Julianna Guill), and Lawrence (Arlen Escarpeta) arrive at Trent’s summer cabin, which sits on Crystal Lake, unaware of the events that occurred a few weeks prior. Also in town is Clay (Jared Padalecki), who has come to Crystal Lake searching for his sister Whitney. Clay eventually makes his way to Trent’s cabin, where Jenna agrees to help him look for his sister on the other side of the lake. As Clay and Jenna search for clues to Whitney’s disappearance, Jason kills Nolan and Chelsea out on the lake. Clay and Jenna reach the old Crystal Lake campgrounds, where they witness Jason hauling a dead body into one of the abandoned camp houses.
Clay and Jenna run back to warn the others about Jason, who arrives shortly after them and cuts the power to the cabin. After killing Chewie and Lawrence, who ventured outside the house, Jason sneaks inside the cabin and kills Bree. Trent, Clay and Jenna escape the house, but Trent is killed shortly after when he reaches the main road. Jason then chases Clay and Jenna back to the campgrounds, where Clay discovers Jason’s lair and finds his sister chained to the wall. Clay frees Whitney, and all three attempt to escape as Jason arrives. The trio find an exit, but Jenna is killed before she can get out. Jason comes after Clay and Whitney, who use Jason’s love and memory of his mother to distract him long enough to stab him in the chest with his own machete. Afterward, Clay dumps Jason’s lifeless body into the lake, but before he and Whitney can leave Jason bursts through the lake dock and grabs Whitney.

Friday the 13th Movie Review - Casting
Stuntman Derek Mears was hired to portray Jason Voorhees at the recommendation of makeup special effects supervisor Scott Stoddard. Mears’s pleasant demeanor had the studio worried about his ability to portray such a menacing character on screen, but Mears assured them that he was up to the role. Jared Padalecki signed on as the lead male who investigates what happened at Crystal Lake, with Amanda Righetti taking the female lead. Amanda Righetti had not read the script when she was initially offered the role. Wanting to be a part of the Friday the 13th franchise from the start, Righetti admitted that she was sold on the idea of acting in the film after she did read the script. Danielle Panabaker, Jonathan Sadowski, Travis Van Winkle, Aaron Yoo, Julianna Guill round out the rest of the cast. Nana Visitor was cast as Pamela Voorhees, with Caleb Guss hired for the role of a young Jason.
The casting process was difficult for producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form on this film, more so than it was on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, as Friday the 13th had more young actors to contend with and consistent casting/recasting all the way until filming began. Fuller and Form’s first challenge was the size of their cast. Fuller and Form had thirteen young actors in Friday the 13th, whereas in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre they only had five. The pair had to continually recast parts to find the group that worked best together. This recasting process extended all the way to the start of film. Richard Burgi, who was cast as the sheriff, did not sign on until twelve hours before he had to start filming his scenes.

A movie review gives an indication as to whether or not others will find the movie worth watching. The purpose of most movie reviews is to help the reader in determining whether they want to watch, rent or buy the movie. The review should also give enough details about the movie so that the reader can make a right choice. For that the review must deal with all important aspects of the movie such as the plot or the story.

In this article, we will be discussing the guidelines, which should be followed while writing a movie review. Before starting to write a review, the writer should select the movie he is going to write about. Knowing the details of the movie, such as its director, actors, story and such things is important. Then the reviewer should formulate his own opinion in one sentence. Lastly, special scenes from the movie or other things that will support the writer’s opinion have to be selected and given.

The first step in writing the review is to watch the movie. Most movie reviewers take notes as they watch the movie itself. Watching the movie a second time helps to absorb a lot more details about the movie. Most movie reviewers give their opinion of the movie only after watching it a second or third time. In all good journalism, the reviewer should always give impartial details, and allow the readers to make their own opinion about the film.

Reviewer’s opinions should be explained to allow the reader to determine whether they would agree with his opinion. The reviewer also needs to consider the audience. Writing a movie review for children requires a different approach than writing for a general movie audience. The review should always be written keeping the targeted audience in mind. The main essence of the movie should be retained in an outlined sketch. But it should always be remembered not to give away any essential details like surprises or a sudden turn in the plot.

Details of actors, crew members, and directors should be mentioned. It should also be mentioned how well they have acted and how well the movie has been made technically. The technicalities are an important part of the movie review. Technicalities include art direction, music, editing, lighting, cinematography and the like.

Movie reviews even include a little bit of criticism if needed. Criticism says what could have been done to make the film better or what the weak points of the movie are. Though critical analysis is not always needed, a word or two in that manner can be very good at times.

A reviewer must always remember to give an outline of the whole story, but not give away details which hold surprises or the special essence of the film. It should be kept untold to keep the suspense. The movie review should be written keeping a note of the types of readers who would be reading the review. The language, presentation and the technicalities of writing would also depend on the types of readers. The medium in which the review will be published is also important, because if the review is published on the net the reviewer will get mostly young readers but if it is going to be published in a local language in a local daily the approach should be different.

A nationally representative sample of 2,050 regular moviegoers was asked: “How often do you follow movie reviews in a newspaper, magazine, on television or online?”

Research says that four out of five moviegoers do follow reviews, and:

- 81% of moviegoers follow film reviews in a newspaper, magazine, on television or online. – 81% of moviegoers follow film reviews in a newspaper, magazine, on television or online. Roughly half of these moviegoers simply follow the reviews of movies either once a week or more (22%) or several times a month (16%). The other half follow reviews occasionally when there is a movie they are interested in (43%).

- 19% of moviegoers never follow the reviews. In all, 71,485,980 moviegoers follow reviews.

In the most recent U.S. census estimates available, in 2007 the total U.S. population was 301,621,157. Approximately 77% of the population was ages 12 to 70 years, or 232,248,170 persons. 38% of potential respondents who were randomly contacted in this research qualified as moviegoers as defined by having seen 4 or more movies in the last year. That means that 38% of 232,248,170, or 88,254,300, are moviegoers between the ages of 12 and 70. Since we know that 81% of moviegoers follow reviews, it is fair to say, then, that approximately 71,485,983 are moviegoers who follow movie reviews.

To follow movie reviews more frequently correlates with attending more movies. Moviegoers who follow reviews more frequently attend more movies per year:

Moviegoers 30 years and older follow reviews more frequently than do their younger counterparts. Half of them follow movie reviews frequently, that is, once a week or more (22%) or several times a month (16%). The other half follow movie reviews occasionally when a movie interests them (43%).

In terms of numbers, 71,485,983 U.S. moviegoers simply follow the reviews of movies. 19,415,946 moviegoers simply follow the reviews of movies once a week or more. 14,120,688 moviegoers simply follow the reviews of movies several times a month. And 37,949,349 moviegoers simply follow the reviews of movies occasionally when a movie interests them.

Importantly, following movie reviews more frequently correlates with attending more movies per year.

By age and gender, males older than 20 years and both males and females older than 30 years follow movie reviews more frequently than teenagers do.

In conclusion, movie reviews matter.

This research was conducted in February 2009 among 2,000 regular moviegoers ages 12 to 70 years. 33% of these moviegoers were teens; 33% were in their 20’s; and 33% were 30 years and older. This sample of moviegoers was spread among the top 50 U.S. city-markets in proportion to moviegoing in each city-market. Half of these moviegoers were reached by random digit dial telephone and half were reached on general interest non-movie web sites.

“How often do you follow movie reviews in a newspaper, magazine, on television or online?” To follow means, “To accompany; attend.
Valkyrie Movie Review - Plot
During World War II, Wehrmacht Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg (Tom Cruise) is severely wounded in Tunisia, and is evacuated home to Nazi Germany. Meanwhile, Major General Henning von Tresckow (Branagh) attempts to assassinate Adolf Hitler by smuggling a bomb aboard the Führer’s private airplane. The bomb, however, fails to detonate and Tresckow safely retrieves it to conceal his intentions. After learning that the Gestapo has arrested Major Hans Oster, he orders General Olbricht (Nighy) to find a replacement. After recruiting von Stauffenberg into the German Resistance, Olbricht delivers von Stauffenberg to a meeting of the secret committee which has coordinated previous attempts on Hitler’s life. The members include General Ludwig Beck (Stamp), Dr. Carl Goerdeler (McNally), and Erwin von Witzleben (Schofield). The Colonel is stunned to learn that no plans exist for after Hitler’s assassination.
After a bombing raid on Berlin, he lights upon using the plan Operation Valkyrie, which involves the deployment of the Reserve Army to maintain order in the event of a national emergency. The plotters carefully redraft the plan so that they can dismantle the Nazi regime after assassinating Hitler. Realizing that only General Fromm (Wilkinson), the head of the Reserve Army, can initiateValkyrie, they offer him a position as head of the Wehrmacht in a Post-Nazi Germany and recruit him into the fold. With the rewritten plan needing to be signed off by Hitler (Bamber), von Stauffenberg visits the Führer at his Berghof estate in Bavaria. In the presence of his inner circle, Hitler praises von Stauffenberg’s heroism in North Africa and signs off on the plan without fully examining the modifications.
At Goerdeler’s insistence, von Stauffenberg is ordered to assassinate both Hitler and SS head Himmler at the bunker Wolf’s Lair. At a final briefing, Colonel Mertz von Quirnheim (Berkel) instructs the committee members in how to use pencil detonators. von Stauffenberg also reaches out to General Fellgiebel (Izzard), who controls all communications at Wolf’s Lair, to cut off communications after the bomb blast. On July 15, 1944, von Stauffenberg attends a strategy meeting at Wolf’s Lair with the bomb in his briefcase, but with Himmler not present at the meeting, von Stauffenberg does not get the go-ahead from the committee leaders until the meeting is over. Meanwhile, the Reserve Army is mobilized by Olbricht, unbeknownst to Fromm, to stand by. With no action taken, von Stauffenberg safely extracts himself and the bomb from the bunker, and the Reserve Army is ordered to stand down, believing that the mobilization was training. Enraged, von Stauffenberg goes to the committee to protest the indecisiveness and blames the bungling of Goerdeler, who has been selected to be chancellor after the coup. When Goerdeler demands that von Stauffenberg be relieved, Beck informs him that the SS is searching for him and implores him to leave the country immediately.
On July 20, 1944, von Stauffenberg and his adjutant Lieutenant Haeften (Parker) return to the Wolf’s Lair. To von Stauffenberg’s dismay, he discovers that the conference is being held in an open-window summer barrack, whereas the plotters had intended to detonate the bomb within the walls of the bunker for maximum damage. While his adjuntant waits with a getaway car, von Stauffenberg leaves the briefcase at the meeting. With the bomb armed, von Stauffenberg leaves the barrack for the getaway car. When the bomb explodes, von Stauffenberg is certain that Hitler is dead and flees the Wolf’s Lair. Before shutting down communications, Fellgiebel calls Mertz about the explosion but cannot clearly convey whether or not the Führer is dead.
As von Stauffenberg flies back to Berlin, Olbricht refuses to mobilize the Reserve Army until he knows without a doubt that Hitler is dead. Behind Olbricht’s back, Mertz forges his signature and issues the orders anyway. With Operation Valkyrie underway, von Stauffenberg and his fellow plotters order the arrest of Nazi party leaders and SS officers and begin to take control of Berlin’s government quarter, which will allow them to command the entire Reich. Rumors reach Berlin that Hitler survived the blast, but von Stauffenberg dismisses them as SS propaganda. Meanwhile, Fromm learns from Field Marshal Keitel that Hitler is still alive. The General refuses to join the plotters, resulting in his arrest. When Hitler reaches the Reserve Army by telephone, the SS officers are released and the plotters in turn are besieged inside the Bendlerblock. The headquarters staff flees, but the ringleaders are arrested. Most are eventually tried and executed, while some commit suicide. Von Stauffenberg is executed by a firing squad.

A movie review gives indication as to whether or not others will find the movie worth watching. The purpose of most movie reviews is to help the reader in determining whether they want to watch, rent or buy the movie. The review should also give enough details about the movie so that the reader can make an up-to-date decision as to whether to watch the movie or not. At the same time, the review should not give away too much of the essential plot of the story.

In this article we will be discussing the guidelines that should be followed while writing a movie review. Before starting to write a review, the writer should remember the following procedure:

- Selecting the movie
- Knowing the context of the movie, such as it’s director, actors, story and many more
- Formulating the writers opinion in one sentence
- Selecting special scenes from the movie or other facts that will support the writer’s opinion.

The first step in writing the review is to watch the movie. Most movie reviewers take notes as they watch the movie. Watching the movie a second time helps to absorb a lot more detail about the movie. Most movie reviewers give their personal opinion of the movie in their review. In all good journalism, the reviewer should always give impartial details, and allow the reader to make their own opinion as well.

Reviewer’s opinions should be explained to allow the reader to determine whether the readers would agree or not. The reviewer also needs to consider the audience. Writing a movie review for children requires a different approach than if writing for a general movie audience. The review should always be written keeping the targeted audience in mind. The main essence of the movie should be retained in an outlined sketch — but it should always be remembered not to give away any essential details like surprises or a sudden turn in the plot.

Details of actors, crew members, directors should be mentioned in the review. It should also be mentioned how well they have acted and how well the movie has been made technically. The technicalities are an important part of the movie review. Technicalities include art direction, music, editing lighting, cinematography and many more.

Movie reviews even include a little bit of criticism if needed. Criticism says what could have been done to make the film better or what the weak points of the movie are. Though critical analysis is not always needed, a word or two can serve the purpose in a movie review.

Conclusion

A reviewer must always remember to give an outline of the whole story, but not give away details which hold surprises or the special essence of the film. It should be kept untold for the audience to watch the film. The movie review should be written keeping a note of the types of readers who would be reading the review. The language, presentation and technicalities of writing would also depend on the types of readers. The medium which the review will be published is also important, because if the review is published on the net, the reviewer will get mostly youth readers. However, if it is going to be published in a local language in a local daily newspaper, then the approach should be different.

Mind Movies Review - The Most Powerful Manifestation Tool Ever?

Mind Movies Review – Provides this article to help decide if the power of Mind Movies and the innovative way to apply the law of attraction will indeed work for you.
Mind Movies is a comparatively new idea first started in 2008 by Ryan Higgens and Natalie Ledwell. Whilst their Mind Movie Creation Kit is comparatively new, the ideas that it is founded upon is certainly not new.

Mind Movies Review – Some BackGround

If you have ever read Napoleon Hills Think & Grow Rich you’ll remember that in Chapter 4 when he describes in very practical steps how to go about creating the life that you desire he asserts, and I quote;

“First. disturbed or interrupted, close your eyes, and repeat aloud, (so you may hear
your own words) the written statement of the amount of money you intend to
accumulate, the time limit for its accumulation, and a description of the service
As you carry out
these instructions, SEE YOURSELF ALREADY IN POSSESSION OF THE
MONEY.”

His approach and philosphy are quite simple, to try and summarise what is arguably one of the best books on wealth creation ever made in a single sentence, is to visualize your desired result and through the process of repetition – manifest what it is that you truely need in life.

Mind Movies Review – The Practical Application of The Law of Attraction

It’s a straightforward concept and helps you to;

* Be very specific on what you want
* Find images that are consistent with that desire
* Create statements that trigger your emotions to state those outcomes in the present “tense”

Not everybody has the technical ability to make their own mind movies, so if you would like access to six pre made – high quality and inspirational mind movies – these are available to you now, by visiting the Mind-Movies-Review blog at mind-movies-reviews.com or by clicking here.

* Making the wealth you desire
* Creating wonderful loving family relationships
* Living a happy and rewarding life

These have a total value of $234
I’m not sure if these should be available for much longer, so you should probably act now.

Limited time access to premade mind movies..

If you’ve already accessedthe pre-made mind movies and want to see more examples or read another mind movie review don’t forget to come to come to our blog Mind-Movies-Reviews.com

With as many as 720 prints, the much anticipated Telugu movie Magadheera is set for a grand release today, the 31st of July, in as many as 1500 theatres worldwide. You can watch the beautiful high-quality trailer of Magadheera by clicking on any of the links on this page.

Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja and Kajal are the lead pair in this picture that explores the curious notions of reincarnation and death. Magadheera is an action-based romantic thriller that promises to suit audiences of all classes.

The movie was shot mostly in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Interestingly, midnight shows at Tirupati have been banned by Congress leaders in an effort to stem the black-marketing of tickets. There has been tremendous buzz about this film for months leading up to today’s release.

Magadheera Movie Review – Watch the Beautiful High Quality Trailer

So what are the leading critics saying about Magadheera?

TeluguCinema.com calls Magadheera "5 stars – spell-binding and very excellent…..He has now become the master of commercial movies…..The film looks grand, all because of this art director!….Producer Allu Aravind should be praised for pumping money extravagantly into the film with confidence on the project…..Rajamouli’s grand vision, great art work, superb visual effects and graphics , top-notch camerawork and performances in this episode alone are worth tons of praises….."

Sifi says "4 Stars – The film also has its visual grandeur…..He grips the scenes with his superb dialogues and getups…..Dialogues are fine and synchronies with the episodes…..Interestingly, any regular audience would find some striking similarities between Maghadeera and Arundhati"

Sira Sri writes "The much awaited ‘Magadheera’ has arrived. It has created huge expectations by the virtue of its posters, trailers and above all the music. Finally let us see if it has reached those expectations. The movie scores 4/5 by the virtue of technical values and adventurous attempt. It would have scored bigger if the first 44 minutes were also dealt well with sensible comedy and treatment. Verdict: It’s good to watch the film as soon as possible.

Sounds like a winner to me. Can’t wait to see it while munching on some buttered popcorn and sipping a refreshing drink.
